Google Sites is a free website building and hosting platform available to anyone with a Google account. I have created some websites with Google Sites and I’ve also used Hostinger.

They’re not exactly interchangeable. Google Sites only allows you to create basic static websites without a backend. On the other hand, Hostinger offers full web hosting services where you can host any type of website using a CMS or a custom backend.

If you’re creating a small website with only a few pages that don’t change a lot, I’d go with Google Sites over Hostinger since it’s totally free. The editor has limited features, but you can embed custom HTML code into any page.

Hostinger’s web hosting is better for SEO, especially if you use WordPress, because you get total control over the source code and you can customize your SEO settings as you wish.
